The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course is an advanced course for those who have completed the PADI Open Water Diver Course. It offers further training through so-called adventure dives. This course provides an exciting and challenging experience for divers who already have foundational knowledge. Both newly certified divers who have just completed the PADI OWD and more experienced divers can participate. Under the supervision of our professional instructors, you will be guided through various training areas. If you are already a certified Adventure Diver, you only need to complete two adventure dives to become an Advanced Open Water Diver.
Learning Objectives:
The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course consists of five adventure dives completed over two days. Underwater navigation and deep diving are core components of the training. The other three dives can be chosen from a variety of options. Examples of adventure dives include wreck diving, drift diving, night diving, and perfecting buoyancy. Depending on your interests, you may also choose fish identification, digital underwater photography, or other specialties. Our dive instructors are happy to provide guidance on your choices.
During the deep diving (Deep Adventure Dive) portion, you will learn how to plan and conduct dives safely, taking into account the physiological effects and challenges, in depths of up to 30 meters.
In the underwater navigation dive, you will learn to “read” the underwater world. The goal is to orient yourself safely underwater using various details. You will also learn navigation techniques using a compass.
The PADI Divemaster Course is the first level of professional diving training. We teach and train you to use your skills to become a competent diving professional. You will work closely with our PADI Instructor to enhance and optimize your diving abilities. This course will prepare you to be an underwater manager, responsible for supervising and supporting certified divers.
